Brave Man Submits Himself To Torture To Raise Awareness On Torture In Guantanamo Bay

Step into the seat during a Guantanamo Bay force-feeding, which is currently being done to half of the population in this American prison. Rapper-turned-actor Mos Def (aka Yasiin Bey) submits himself to torture to bring the reality of conditions at Guantanamo home for the rest of us.

WARNING: This video contains content of a graphic nature. If you can handle it, it's absolutely a must-watch. I don't like torture done in my or my country's name, and I want it to stop. If you agree, then this is a must-share.

  1. I found this quite disgusting and insensitive. I could not help but think of children undergoing this medical procedure. There are better ways to make adult people understand what happens in Guantánamo. The movie Five Years about Murat Kurnaz succeeded in this for me. With Fema camps being repaired and stories about an underground base in Dulce, where human experiments are being carried out? I wonder whether there is/have been many Guantanamo bay's been going on. Apparently there are also underground CIA prisons in Somalia. I never agreed with hungerstrikes as a method to make demands. Asylumseekers have been using them for over a decade now. Also those with false claims for asylum. Gandhi doing it might have been a lofty intention, but nowadays it often feels very negative and egodominated. Meanwhile in the US whole towns are now being subjected to marshall law and swatteams. Brutal, scary and dominant, also to completely innocent citizens. Thus Guantánamo is everywhere and growing bigger. We all know by now, what words of Obama meant, promising he would close Guantánamo. As Always i am against all prison and concentrationcamps, whether on the West Bank, Guantánamo bay or simply outlawed by society/family because of a mental health issue, unacceptable behaviour. We humans have made a real mess of our societies and allowed socalled rulers to dupe us all.
