How an 8-year old treated cancer and shrunk her tumor by 75%

Arjun Walia | Collective-Evolution

Another story of a cancer patient treating themselves through diet has surfaced. Not long ago we shared a similar story of a man with stage 3 colon cancer who refused chemotherapy and cured himself with a vegan diet. I want to make it clear that surgery does not cure cancer, especially when an individual is already in the later stages of the disease. If it did, that’s all they would do. Cancer is a systemic metabolic disease, the result of a body that is nutrient deficient, overloaded with toxins and usually the result of a PH level that’s too low, meaning that the body is bathed in acidity. If the body is not given the essential nutrients it needs to repair, regenerate and detoxify, cancer will most likely return.
Let food by thy medicine, and medicine by thy food – Hippocrates
In this case, the PH levels were raised, and as a result the lactic acid goes down and the cancer activity  goes down. This allows the body repair itself. It’s very concerning that most doctors don’t know that nutrition plays a vital role when it comes to cancer treatment. If you have cancer, the options you are given are usually drugs, chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Rarely is nutrition thought of when it comes to an effective cure for cancer. While each case is unique and no ONE treatment can be used in every case, it is important to look at multiple options that have been effective vs only looking at mainstream options which don’t have high success rates to begin with. For example, here is a list of  20 medical studies that prove cannabis can cure cancer.

Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation are constantly pushed as the only go-to options for cancer treatment, when this couldn’t be farther from the truth. How often does a cancer patient see a doctor who tells them that dichloroacetate can cure their cancer? That was recently discovered by researchers at the University of Alberta. Cancer is a multi-trillion dollar industry, it can be hard to believe that there are those who do not promote treatments that have been proven successful, but it simply means we have to go beyond what we are taught, use our critical thinking skills and find out the truth for ourselves.

Living Without Money | The Moneyless Manifesto

Mark Boyle's new book, The Moneyless Manifesto explores in-depth the social, personal, ecological and economic reasons why we may want to transition beyond money into a localised, gift-based economy.

During a philosophical evening conversation about the many troubles in the world, Mark Boyle realized that each of the many issues he was discussing with his friend shared a common root cause: money. Inspired by Mahatma Ghandi’s quote, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” Mark, then a successful businessman, resolved to live for a year without spending or receiving any hard cash. After successfully living moneyless for a whole year, Mark decided to continue living like that for two further years. As he now claims, this turned out to be the most fulfilling period of his life.
“I’ve now more friends in my community than ever, I haven’t been ill since I began, and I’ve never felt fitter. I’ve found that friendship, not money, is real security. Most western poverty is psychological. Real independence is interdependence.”
Since that experience, Mark authored two books: The Moneyless Man and The Moneyless Manifesto. In these books, he described his experience of living moneyless and provided a guide for reducing society’s dependence on money; he donated all the profits he made through the books to charity. Furthermore, Mark is the founder of the free economy movement, an alternative economy that has been adopted by local groups all across the world. Mark continues to spread his message that we need to change the way we live. He strongly believes that we are addicted to money and our obsession with it is leading to the destruction of our planet. Moreover, he is of the opinion that we need to live in harmony and live in a sustainable manner; in other words in a more “heartfelt” and “loving” way. He stresses out that we need to do this now, before it is too late. As he says, we are all part of the story, so we need to be part of the change. A very important message indeed.

5 Mind Blowing Uses for Hemp

Like our NEW page on Facebook.Click here > EducateInspireChange.org
Industrial hemp has been used for thousands of years to make everything from Food to Clothing. but lets get somethings cleared up first. Hemp and Marijuana are two different strains of the Cannabis plant, while Marijuana is harvested for its flowers high THC content which provided the psychoactive effect desired, Hemp is harvested for its stock and their fibers and has a very low THC content. In fact it would literally take 1 ton of hemp to get a psychoactive effect, and lets be honest, if you’re trying to smoke a ton of hemp, you have a lot more problems than trying to get high.

Hemp can be used to make thousands of different products, but here are five that are simply MIND-BLOWING:

1. Paper
This you’ve probably heard of, but hemp is such an ideal plant for making paper and has been used that reason for the past 2,000 years. reasons for it’s low production in today’s market (0.05%) range from propaganda instigated by the timber industry to the age of the processing equipment being so out of date that it would be several times more expensive to make.

However hemp is a far better and quicker source for renewable and sustainable pulp for paper. Hemp grows from seed to harvest with in a few months, where as in trees can take 30 years of more to be ready to be made into paper. Government studies report that the paper made from 1 acre of hemp, is the equivalent to 4.1 acres of trees to make the same amount of paper

DID YOU KNOW?
In 1916, the U.S. Government predicted that by the 1940′s all paper would come from hemp and that no more trees would need to be cut down.

Imagine that!
If we as a collective society decide that we rather buy hemp paper rather than tree paper, we could SAVE and REPLANT the worlds forests!

2. Building Supplies
Of all the uses for hemp, a real Mind-Opener is all the different sorts of building materials it provides:

Hemp based materials can replace wood and other materials used to build homes and other structures including foundations, walls, shingles, paneling, pipes, and paint. You can make it into insulation as companies in the Netherlands and Ireland are already doing. Hemp can even be used to make ‘hempcrete’, a stronger, lighter, and more environmentally friendly version of concrete, which is lightweight, waterproof, fireproof, self-insulating and resistant to pests..

Houses built from hemp have been found to use less energy, create less waste and take less fuel to heat than conventionally constructed homes.

3. Plastics
Just about everything we buy has some form of plastic involved in the product. Almost everything is wrapped in cellophane and our landfills are littered with them. Standard plastic is made from fossil fuels using very toxic chemicals. From packaging to toys, a myriad of alternatives to plastic can be made from hemp.

In 1941, Henry Ford held a media event where he swung an axe at a prototype car body made of hemp and other plant material to prove its strength. The technology was never put into mass production, cars continued to be made of steel, and plastics made from petrochemicals became the norm. Possibly because of the monopolies Carnegie Steel and Rockefeller’s Standard Oil had on the marketplace.

... and if that’s too retro for you, here’s a car made by Lotus in 2008, almost completely made out of hemp materials.

4. Fuel
Yes, hemp can even be used to make bio-fuel!

Just like many other vegetable oil, hemp oil can be processed into bio-diesel Unlike fossil fuels, hemp fuel is renewable and produces significantly less carbon monoxide. It also stands to reason that hemp could also be utilized to make liquid fuels that are chemically identical to petroleum-based gasoline as well.

However there still are the concerns of converting the amount of land needed that could be used for hemp production, but the bio-diesel is certainly a viable
option.

5. Chemical Cleanup
One of the most intriguing uses for hemp its ability to clean up up soil contamination. In 1998 industrial hemp was tested at the site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine to help heal the soil. by planting in to the ground in Chernobyl, hemp helped to remove radioactive elements and heavy metals from soil and water in the contaminated area. Because of its fast rate of growing each season, up to 250-400 plants per square meter each up to 15 feet tall, hemp shows good potential in cleaning up land contaminated with fly ash, sewage sludge, or other heavy metals.

Food for Thought: The reason for the under utilization of all these amazing uses for hemp is due to other industries efforts in suppressing this information in the hopes of their product continuing to thrive. But in the age of the internet, we are seeing that these previous industries are not sustainable and are ruining our planet. However something we forget is that these harmful industries thrive because we buy their products, if we all petitioned for and bought more hemp products, the marketplace will turn it’s way. Remember, together we are powerful enough to change anything.

15 Foods That Kill Belly Fat

15 FOODS THAT KILL BELLY FAT -

There  are some foods that actually help you lose weight. We all know losing weight can be difficult, but with the right diet and exercise you can easily lose weight naturally.
There are certain foods that KILL belly fat and others that CAUSE belly fat and belly bulge. Here are 15 that will help flatten that bulge:

1. Avocados: These little suckers are loaded with two nutrients that are KEY to killing belly fat: hunger-crushing fiber 11 to 17 grams per avocado!, and monounsaturated fats, which studies have shown to actually “spot reduce” belly fat. Zowie!

2. Peanut Butter: Okay, not just peanut butter, but mostly any seeds and nuts and these are the best: pistachios, walnuts, almonds (or almond butter, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and flax seeds. Why? They keep you full and satisfied for long periods of time, and they’re stuffed with healthy, belly-burning fats and minerals.

3. Crisco: KIDDING! Just seeing if you were paying attention. That stuff is deadly. Healthy oils like olive oil, coconut oil and brand names like Udo’s Oil and Barlean’s Oil (I like the swirl flavors) actually help you burn fat by supplying healthy oils your body needs to burn body blubber.

4. These Veggies: I’ve got to thank my buddy Mike Geary for this one. Turns out certain vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, kale, and cabbage contain special phytonutrients, such as indole-3-carbinol (I3C), which help to fight against environmental estrogens that can add belly fat. Mom was right…eat your veggies!

5. Omelets: Eggs aren’t bad, they’re nutrient-dense and loaded with belly-burning protein, vitamins B6, B12, A, D, E, and K, folate, choline, lutein, calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids. Plus, they keep you full for long periods of time. Choose eggs that come from free-range chickens. You’ll get more healthy nutrients.

6. Dark Chocolate: That is not a typo. Dark chocolate is loaded with antioxidants with nearly eight times the number found in strawberries and it contains stimulants that can have a positive effect on fat burning, including theobromine and caffeine. It also contains a nice dose of oleic acid, which is a monounsaturated fat. Make sure to choose the 78% or higher cocoa levels for best results.

7. Oatmeal: Packed with fiber and whole-grain goodness, you can’t go wrong. Just be sure to avoid the processed, high-sugar junk out there and stick to slow-cook oats. Add a dash of cinnamon, some walnuts, berries, and a natural sweetener to taste. BAM! Good stuff.

8. Green Tea: Not only does it contain a potent antioxidant, many scientific studies have linked green tea to increased fat burning, including a report in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that found green tea extract boosted the daytime metabolism of test subjects by 35- 43%.

9. Beans: Black beans, navy beans, refried beans, and lima beans all have 6 or more grams of fiber per ½ cup. Fiber can clean your system of pounds of “toxic waste” and reduce your belly bulge in a big way. See #5 for details.

10. Berries: Strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are loaded with fiber, which slows sugar absorption, and they’re packed with vitamins that can fight cravings. Note: cravings can come from vitamin deficiencies.

11. Cinnamon: Researchers have found that cinnamon contains a type of antioxidant that increases insulin sensitivity and effectively helps to stabilize blood sugar. Bottom line…you’ll store less belly fat.

12. Chilli Peppers: Studies have shown that the active ingredient in chili peppers and powder, something called capsaicin, increases calorie-burning, stabilizes blood sugar levels which decreases fat storage, and is a potent antioxidant. Add some of this “spice” to your life.

13. Yogurt: Most regular yogurt is bad for your belly. It’s loaded with belly-bulging sugar that you want to avoid. However, Greek yogurts like Stoneyfield Farms Oikos Greek Yogurt -plain- are loaded with probiotics that fight belly bulge. See #6.

14. Wild Salmon: Hands-down one of the best belly-blasting foods because of its protein and high omega-3 fatty acid content. This is like a “double shotgun approach” to killing belly fat. Many people are deficient in omega-3s and when they add them to their diet the fat can really start coming off.

15. Giant Turkey Legs: You got me. I’m pulling your leg. (Get it?) I’m not just talking about turkey meat (white preferred), but any lean protein source is a good belly-blasting food. This includes wild salmon, free-range chicken, whey protein powders, and most especially grass-fed beef because it contains natural CLA—a fat that studies have actually shown to burn fat. The interesting thing about protein is your body will burn off as much as 30% of its calories after you eat it.

9 Unique Tips To Lose Weight

With obesity on the increase and GMO's being proven as a key cause, natural alternatives to pills and drastic surgery seem a much healthier, less invasive option.

Obesity is on the increase. According to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 35.7% of American adults are obese [1]. GMO foods have been named a major factor in this increase. According to a Norwegian study undertaken over 10 years, it was found that animals in this test that were fed GMO corn, gained weight faster and retained it for longer, compared to those fed a non-gmo diet. [2]
There are a number of diet fads, miracle pills claiming to make you lose weight quickly and expensive surgeries such as gastric bands. However the risks of using these methods can be costly to both one's health and bank balance.
The key to losing weight is simple and easy. By making changes to the types of foods you eat, portion sizes and getting a decent amount of exercise on a daily basis will have a far greater impact than any other method. Not only will your body look better, but your health will be greatly improved also.

These 9 tips are great for losing weight:
  1. Honey approximately 10 grams mixed with lukewarm water is a great natural home remedy to help with obesity.
  2. Cabbage is well known on the fad diet list for helping with weight loss. Although when eaten with a healthy diet can be extremely beneficial. The chemical tartaric acid in cabbage works by stopping the body from converting sugar and carbohydrates into fat.
  3. Raw tomatoes eaten in the morning will have a significant impact over 3 months.
  4. Curry leaves work by flushing out fat and toxins in the body. Eating 10 -12 leaves daily for 4 months will achieve results.
  5. A lemon, cayenne pepper, honey combination is another detox method for losing weight. A teaspoon of honey , a dash of pepper and 3 teaspoons of lemon juice daily for 3 months will aid in reducing body fat.
  6. Dandelion root in the form of a tea (or tisane) aids digestion, is a natural detox and thus aids the natural weight loss process. Green Tea is known to help boost metabolism. Drink 3 cups daily.
  7. Ginger and Lemon tisane is a great appetite suppressant which can be very beneficial when reducing portion sizes.
  8. Mint paste has been known to keep you feeling fuller for longer.
  9. Carrot juice, drank regularly, is packed full of dietary fiber which aids in digestion and keeps your stomach and intestinal tract healthy.
Remember the best way to lose weight and stay healthy is to drink plenty of water, eat natural foods that mother nature intended and take exercise regularly.

A Beautiful Conversaton - Between Mother & Child

This is Luiz Antonio, a three years old Brazilian boy explaining to his mother why he won't eat octopus. I was so moved by the video I decided to create this blog for it. Please share...

Transcript of this beautiful conversation:
Luiz: That's ok?

Mom: Ok.

Mom: Now, eat your octopus gnocchi.

Luiz: Ok mom, alright...

Luiz: ...This octopus isn't real, right?

Mom: No.

Luiz: Then alright...

Luiz: He doesn't speak, and he doesn't have a head, right?

Mom: He doesn't have a head. These are only the chopped little legs of the octopus.

Luiz: Huh?! But...is he head in the sea?

Mom: His head is at the fish market.

Luiz: ...The man...chopped it? Like this? [sawing motion]

Mom: Yes he did.

Luiz: Why?

Mom: So we can eat it! Otherwise, we'd have to swallow it all.

Luiz: ...But why?

Mom: So we can eat it, love. Just like a cow is chopped, a chicken is chopped...

Luiz: Huh? A chicken! No, nobody eats chickens!

Mom: Nobody eats chicken?

Luiz: No...those are animals!

Mom: Really?

Luiz: Yeah!

Mom: So let's eat the gnocchi. Eat the potato, then?

Luiz: umm...just the potato and just the rice.

Mom: Ok...

Luiz: Octopus are animals...

Mom: Alright.

Luiz: All of them are animals...

Luiz: Fish are animals...

Luiz: Octopus are animals...

Luiz: Chicken are animals...

Luiz: Cows are animals...

Luiz: Pigs are animals...

Mom: —Yes...

Luiz: So! ...When we eat animals, they die!

Mom: Ah...yes.

Luiz: But why?

Mom: So we can eat, love.

Luiz: But why do they die?

Luiz: I don't like that they die...

Luiz: I like that they stay standing up.

Mom: Ok. Alright. So we're not gonna eat it anymore, ok?

Luiz: Ok!

Luiz: These animals...you gotta take care of them...and not eat them!

Mom: [quiet, then laughing tenderly] You're right, son. So, eat the potato and the rice.

Luiz: Alright...Why are you crying?

Mom: I'm not crying...I'm just touched by you.

Luiz: I'm doing something beautiful?

Mom: [laughing tearfully] Eat. No need to eat the octopus, alright?

Luiz: Ok!

NASA to Fund 3D-Printed Pizza Project

Though intended for providing food during long-term space travel, the creator of the printer hopes to it will alleviate food shortages by reducing waste. Once completed, the software will be open source.

With the goal of providing astronauts the means to create food during very long space journeys, NASA is looking into food printing.

They have issued a 6 month grant to Anjan Contractor of Systems & Materials Research Corporation to come up with a prototype printer.

His own Earthbound goals are to end global food shortages by using open source software for collaboration around the world.

Contractor would like to see a 3D food printer in every kitchen in the world and special food-making printer cartridges on every grocery shelf.

If his vision becomes a reality, it could mean the end of food waste, as he'll design the cartridges to have a shelf life of 30 years.

For now, however, NASA calls and the engineer is hard at work. His first project will be a pizza. It'll print in layers, with the crust simultaneously being printed and baking.

Toppings and sauce will start off in powder form and be mixed with water and oil during the printing process.
