Dad Calls Cops on Son to Teach Him a Lesson, Cops Shoot Son Dead

A father’s attempt to teach his son a lesson for taking his truck without permission ended in tragedy Monday after a local police officer shot the teenager dead.
James Comstock told the Des Moines Register he called the police on his son Tyler after the latter took the former’s truck in retaliation for refusing to buy him cigarettes.
Ames Police Officer Adam McPherson reportedly spotted the lawn care company vehicle and pursued it onto the Iowa State University campus, where a brief standoff ensued after Tyler allegedly refused orders to turn off the engine.
McPherson eventually fired six shots into the truck, two of which struck Tyler who was later pronounced dead.
The official report claims the action was necessary in order “to stop the ongoing threat to the public and the officers.”
Tyler’s dad says he was unarmed at the time.

“So he didn’t shut the damn truck off, so let’s fire six rounds at him?” exclaimed Gary Shepley, Tyler’s step-grandfather. “We’re confused, and we don’t understand.”
James said his son had his fair share of minor troubles with the law, and was distraught over a recent breakup with his girlfriend, but was in the process of turning his life around, and was working on obtaining his GED at Des Moines Area Community College.

“He was a smart kid. He made his own computers. He was interested in IT,”
 James told the Register.
The family’s demands for answers got even louder following the revelation that a member of the Ames police department suggested twice that officers call off the chase.
“He took off with my truck. I call the police, and they kill him,” James said. “”It was over a damn pack of cigarettes.”
McPherson is currently on paid leave pending the results of his department’s investigation.

Florida Cop Tasers Cuffed Girl Who Became Brain-dead As A Result (Video)

A Florida police officer, 267-pound Trooper Daniel Cole, was recently cleared of any wrongdoing by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Questions were raised when he tasered a 20 year old handcuffed girl in the back as she fled.
The encounter took place last September at the FHP Pinellas Park Substation. As Maudsley fled, the tasering prevented her from catching herself as her muscles involuntarily seized up. As a result, she fell to the concrete, and bashed her head. She suffered severe brain damage and has been in a persistent vegetative state ever since until she died last month.
What do you think?  Abuse of power?  Of course it is!  He wanted to dish out punishment and that was the end all say all of the situation.  For whatever reason, he wanted to hurt that girl.  He weighs 267 pounds, sheweighs 100 lbs. She was no threat to him all he had to do was chase her down. He was pissed because she made him run which we all know is har for some cops to do.  So he got pissed and tasered her.  Did he mean to kill her? No.  But that is what happened and he deserves to take responsibility for it and the punishment.  All police should do that, your suppose to protect and serve, not taser people because your too lazy to run.  I’m sure he feels remorse for what happened but to me and im sure her mother, that is not enough.

Crazy Cop holds entire family on ground with Taser

TOLEDO, OH — A bizarre scene was recorded in Toledo involving an officer aiming his Taser at an entire family, including a boy, as they were forced to lay in the middle of the street. According to witnesses, the aggressive encounter originated when a man questioned the way an officer was handling a license plate citation for his neighbor.  The man who spoke up, and his entire family, were ripped from their vehicle and threatened with a taser.

Aaron Tatkowski told Toledo News Now that he returned home on Sunday to find his daughter-in-law, Cassandra Meyers, pulled over in a traffic stop on their street by a Washington Township Police officer.  Tatkowski witnessed the officer speaking to her in a way that upset him, so he questioned the officer.
“He hollered for me to get back in my truck, so I got back in my truck,” Tatkowski told reporters. “Next thing you know, I’m yanked out of the truck and it made my girlfriend say a few things. He yanked her out of the truck.”

Tatkowski, his girlfriend, and his 14-year-old son were all ripped from the vehicle and made to lay down in the street.  Tatkowski began to fear for the safety of his family and called out to a witness to begin recording.

The video begins with the encounter already in progress.  An adult male, an adult female, and a boy are laying face down in the street with a heavyset officer pointing his taser at them, screaming.

Christine Lipper uploaded the video to YouTube on September 15.  Based on what she and others witnessed, she titled the video “Crazy Toledo Cop.”

Neighbors gathered along the quiet street inside the trailer park, dismayed at the heated encounter.  One concerned neighbor whispered, “Call a different cop.”

The frazzled officer — identified as Officer Hart — continued to exchange words with the family he had proned out in the middle of the street.

Lipper briefly described the events on the caption of the video, saying, “The cop pulled somebody over and blocked neighbors driveway, neighbor comes home and asks cop to move vehicle..this is what happens.”
A man called Toledo police to request a different officer on the scene.  “Umm yeah we need Toledo police here at 165 Pineridge in Washington Township,” the witness said to the 9-1-1 dispatcher. “We’ve got an officer in distress right now.”

Officer Hart proceeded to pick up Tatkowski by his arms and shove him into the back of his cruiser, emblazoned with the words “Washington Township.”

The officer then turned his attention to the boy.  The female suspect screamed, “You had no right to throw him on the ground!  You had no right to throw any of us on the ground! All you’re doing is harassing everybody!”

The boy stood up and was escorted to the side of the truck.  The officer then craned the female up by her arms, which were handcuffed behind her back.

“Oww!  He’s raising my arms up!” she cried in pain, as her limbs were unnaturally extended backwards.
After sitting the woman on the back of her pickup truck, Hart turned his attention toward the witnesses; one in particular who had been on the phone with a police dispatcher.

“Sir, get off the phone,” said the officer.  “This is not the city of Toledo and they’re already on their way.  Now hang up the phone.”

“What are you afraid of?” the male witness challenged.

The officer snatched the man’s phone and chucked it to the ground.

“Go!  Get out!  I don’t need you people…” he barked.

“What you’re saying is you don’t need witnesses,” retorted the neighbor, fetching his phone from the ground.

Washington Township is found in Lucas County, Ohio, in the vicinity of Toledo.

Man Dies After Being Tasered & Dragged By U.S Police

Michael Angel Ruiz had a history of drug addiction. On July 28, for reasons unknown, he climbed onto the roof of his apartment. Witnesses called the police to protect his safety. This turned out to have been a fatal decision.

First they tased him several times on the roof. He finally complied and hopped down. Cops immediately swarmed him and put him in a choke-hold.

Witness Gary Carthen said that Ruiz was "getting choked out and tased at the same time." He remained in a choke-hold for at least three minutes.

The most disturbing moments were to come. Michael Ruiz, now fully restrained, was dragged down the concrete stairs on his face. As deputies held his arms behind his back, they allowed his head to dangle and thump against every stair. At this point Ruiz may have already lost consciousness, and was making no attempt to lift his head. Video shows him lifelessly suffering head trauma on the descent down the stair case.

"I just felt sick to my stomach," said Richard Erickson, a retired police detective. "I'd never seen anything like this before, even when I was with the police department."

Shocking Video of Police Beating A Woman

Like our NEW page on Facebook> EducateInspireChange.org

Two Quad Cities police officers attacked and beat a female shoplifter who was sitting in a store’s security office.
Keep in mind the cops in the video are still on the job, after some unspecified disciplinary action.
Decide for yourself after watching the entire beating if these so-called men should be allowed to continue to wear a badge.
Just as concerning is the fact that her little girl was in the room for the beginning of the beating before a woman grabbed the child and took her out, but two other people were in the room, a woman and a man, neither of which tried to intervene and stop these two abusive cops.

Cairo massacre: 'hundreds' dead as Egyptian army opens gun fire on pro-Mohammed Morsi protesters

Month long state of emergency is declared following a day of bloodshed

Heavy bursts of automatic gunfire were ringing through the streets of eastern Cairo this morning as the Egyptian authorities went to war with Islamists cowering amid the tents and alleyways of their huge protest camp in Nasr City, a suburb of the capital.
A state of national emergency has been declared, effective from 4pm local time (3pm BST), as the office of interim President Adly Mansour gave the army leave to do whatever was necessary to clear away supporters of the ousted former leader Mohammed Morsi.

Amid the escalating violence, Sky News have reported that one of their cameraman, Mick Deane, has been killed in Egypt this morning.

Security figures have announced they have arrested senior Muslim Brotherhood Politician El-Beltagi.

A number of leaders from the Brotherhood have also been arrested, an official announced during a broadcast.

"We have arrested a number of Brotherhood leaders but it's too early to announce their names," General Abdel Fattah Othman, a senior official in the Interior Ministry, told the privately-owned CBC TV channel.Latest estimates from the Muslim Brotherhood put the number of dead well into the hundreds.

As police helicopters hovered overhead and huge plumes of black smoke billowed into the morning sky, security forces armed with semi-automatic rifles and tear gas laid siege to the sit-in from roads surrounding the camp on several sides.

A nurse at a Cairo hospital has counted 60 bodies, and said she expects the death toll to rise.

Supporters of toppled president Mohammed Morsi – who have been camped out in Nasr City for the past six weeks – crouched behind make shift brick barricades as the live rounds crackled around the surrounding apartment blocks. Others frantically prepared Molotov cocktails hiding behind piles of sandbags which mark the outer limits of the encampment.

In the hospital at the centre of the sit-in, dead bodies were being stretchered down the central staircase on their way to the basement morgue. Injured protesters were lying on the corridor floor, moaning in pain as others were carried in from the streets outside. Agonized screams filled the hallway.

“They are savages,” said Mohammed Noaman, 22, as he showed The Independent a mobile phone photo of a man with half his face torn off. “The police, the army, they are all dogs.”

Egypt's Interior Ministry have claimed 56 are dead.

A Reuters journalist also witnessed the military open fire and saw about 20 people being shot in the legs by soldiers.

Earlier estimates had put the number of civilians killed by security forces at 30, but the Muslim Brotherhood is now claiming that up to 500 are dead and 9,000 wounded.

At least two members of the security forces were confirmed to have died in the morning's crackdown. A senior Health Ministry official, Ahmed el-Ansari, said four people were killed and 50 injured in all at Nasr and a smaller camp in Cairo.

Cops Arrested For Forcing Women Into Sex, Groin-Punching During Traffic Stop

Like our NEW page on Facebook.Click here > EducateInspireChange.org

Two police officers in Lauderhill, Florida found themselves on the other side of the law after being arrested for forcing women into sexual intercourse and groin-punching during a routing traffic stop on May 24, 2012, reports the Sun-Sentinel.

Officer Thomas Merenda, 35 , pulled the women — who had allegedly been drinking at a nearby strip club — over and told them to follow him into a nearby mall parking lot. Once there, they were joined by Officer Franklin Hartley, 32 , who allegedly forced one of the woman to perform oral sex on him and have sexual intercourse with him by threatening to arrest her.

Read more from the Sun-Sentinel below:
According to arrest reports, Hartley ordered the passenger to perform oral sex on him, then had intercourse with her. Merenda’s request, according to the reports, was less time-consuming: “Officer Merenda asked the victim [name withheld] to punch him in the ‘nuts,’ meaning genital area.”
Merenda, “who at the time of the incident was an on-duty public servant, did intentionally, unlawfully and corruptly request and accept the benefit of having the victim … strike him in the groin by threatening arrest, citation or seizure,” according to Merenda’s arrest report.
Hartley faces two unlawful compensation charges — one for having sex with the passenger, and the other for encouraging the driver to punch Merenda. “Tom really enjoys this,” he reportedly told the driver.
Hartley asked for and received the passenger’s phone number, and he sent her a photograph via text message some time after the parking lot encounter, according to Hartley’s arrest report.
The Sun Sentinel is not naming the women, ages 29 and 31 at the time of the alleged incident, because of the nature of the allegations.
During the investigation that followed the incident, detectives tracked the GPS monitors on the marked patrol cars assigned to Merenda and Hartley, finding that both were behind 7300 W. Commercial Blvd. for more than an hour and a half.
Detectives also found the passenger’s underwear at the scene, and testimony from three women claiming Merenda enjoyed sexual pain, with two of the women specifically mentioning the pain of being struck in the groin.

It is LEGAL to SHOOT POLICE in Indiana if you believe The Cop Is Unlawfully Entering Your Home!

Like our NEW page on Facebook.Click here > EducateInspireChange.org

Hold onto your holsters, folks: shooting a cop dead is now legal in the state of Indiana.

Governor Mitch Daniels, a Republican, has authorized changes to a 2006 legislation that legalizes the use of deadly force on a public servant — including an officer of the law — in cases of "unlawful intrusion." Proponents of both the Second and Fourth Amendments — those that allow for the ownership of firearms and the security against unlawful searches, respectively — are celebrating the update by saying it ensures that residents are protected from authorities that abuse the powers of the badge.

Others, however, fear that the alleged threat of a police state emergence will be replaced by an all-out warzone in Indiana.

Under the latest changes of the so-called Castle Doctrine, state lawmakers agree "people have a right to defend themselves and third parties from physical harm and crime." Rather than excluding officers of the law, however, any public servant is now subject to be met with deadly force if they unlawfully enter private property without clear justification.

"In enacting this section, the general assembly finds and declares that it is the policy of this state to recognize the unique character of a citizen's home and to ensure that a citizen feels secure in his or her own home against unlawful intrusion by another individual or a public servant," reads the legislation.

Although critics have been quick to condemn the law for opening the door for assaults on police officers, supporters say that it is necessary to implement the ideals brought by America's forefathers. Especially, argue some, since the Indiana Supreme Court almost eliminated the Fourth Amendment entirely last year. During the 2011 case of Barnes v. State of Indiana, the court ruled that a man who assaulted an officer dispatched to his house had broken the law before there was "no right to reasonably resist unlawful entry by police officers." In turn, the National Rifle Association lobbied for an amendment to the Castle Doctrine to ensure that residents were protected from officers that abuse the law to grant themselves entry into private space.

"There are bad legislators," the law's author, State Senator R. Michael Young (R) tells Bloomberg News. "There are bad clergy, bad doctors, bad teachers, and it's these officers that we're concerned about that when they act outside their scope and duty that the individual ought to have a right to protect themselves."

Governor Daniels agrees with the senator in a statement offered through his office, and notes that the law is only being established to cover rare incidents of police abuse that can escape the system without reprimand for officers or other persons that break the law to gain entry.

"In the real world, there will almost never be a situation in which these extremely narrow conditions are met," Daniels says. "This law is not an invitation to use violence or force against law enforcement officers."

Officers in Indiana aren't necessarily on the same page, though. "If I pull over a car and I walk up to it and the guy shoots me, he's going to say, 'Well, he was trying to illegally enter my property,'" Sergeant Joseph Hubbard tells Bloomberg. "Somebody is going get away with killing a cop because of this law."

"It's just a recipe for disaster," Indiana State Fraternal Order of Police President Tim Downs adds. "It just puts a bounty on our heads."

Dash-cam video shows woman's arrest during diabetic episode

Like our NEW page on Facebook.Click here > EducateInspireChange.org

SANTA FE, NM -- Shocking dash camera footage shows a diabetic woman being dragged out of her car by Santa Fe County sheriff deputies, all while she was having a diabetic episode.

Revena Garcia's blood sugar dropped so low that she became extremely disoriented and could not open her car door. Deputies assumed she was a drunk driver and broke through her window, ripped her limp body from the vehicle, handcuffed her facedown on the hot pavement, where they left her, motionless.

"I was just lost, I was just lost," Garcia said. She said her blood sugar was so low that she could have gone into a coma.

Garcia showed no resistance and there was no reason to be so rough with her, to throw her to the ground, and to leave her there.

Cincinnati Police Strip Search College Girl abuse of Power?

Please Remember these Police Officers knew the TV Cameras were Running & they acted this way.. Imagine what they are like when Nobody is Watching

Should This Girl Have Been Strip /Cavity Search over this ? What Exactly did She do Wrong? in my opinion This is an Abuse of Power by Cincinnati Police Officer Brent Eve & Michelle Ball and should Result in Disciplinary action.. including Retraining of the Officers involved & loss of Rank. Listen carefully at
4:20 4:47 and the Comments/Tone of Voice at 5:14 a Police Officers Job is "keeping the Peace" it's not Discipline or Corporal Punishment of Citizens I believe this girl Being Arrested & Strip Searched was basically punitive .. Even the Courts Ruled Against the Officer. it was not "obstructing official business" reduced to a $105 Fine.

Just before this Clip started Officer Eve makes several derogatory (will upload a more complete clip shortly) comments about college students "refusing to obey orders" "learn to show some respect" and already has a "chip on his shoulder" it's Premeditated

When he Arrives on Scene.. notice he asks one Male student "what school do you all go to? that student Replies...whe she hears "UC" She basically calls out "Ohio State" (like Ohio State Rocks - School Rivalry) He asked her a question ..Then immediately Accuses the Girl of "Lying to a Police Officer about what school she went to" How can you Lie.. when your never asked a question directly in the beginning? ... He is also speaking "Very Quickly.. Firing off several Questions "

The Girl is doing her Best to Answer the Questions.. But she has had a few Drinks & is having a hard time understanding (She not trying to disrepect you Officer.. she sort of Drunk & it's not sinking in.) The Officer then decides to Send her to Jail Why? was she Violent? I've Seen Police Stops on TV where Drugs are found in a car (say 1oz) & the person simply gets a ticket The Girl is still confused .. why am I being arrested I'm 21yr old.. it's legal to be Drunk sitting on your own property.

She is Then placed in back of a Female Officer police car, Taken to Jail and "Strip Searched" Seriously? Women are already struggling with "equal rights" issues in Society - Officer Eve message was clear "I'm a Man.. I'm in charge here... and you are going to do as you are told." it's a total Power Trip. even the Female Officer Michelle Ball "yeah it won't be all good when they make you strip down" see
4:20 & they goes off that with an attitute "running your mouth off.. that's what you get" the proof is in 4:47 & the attitute by both officers is unbelievable "if I don't her Yes Sir no Sir.. your going to Jail" it's an Abuse of Power..

The Police Officers both new in advance that being taken to jail would involve a Strip Search & I believe it was used as a punishment.. LET'S BE HONEST: I know she Pissed you off & you wanted to get your point across (notice how her Attitude Change once you handcuffed her) You could placed her in the back of the police car.. given her the old speech about going to Jail & the Strip Search Thing like you did.. written a ticket.. taken her out of the car & release her with a Ticket. But to drag the Girl to Jail over this & get Body Cavity Searched & Humiliating her-vs- The Tickets I've seen for Drugs in your Car .. or Open Container pour out.. warning.. it's Sadistic & Cruel..

Yes I Agree People should Respect Police Officers. but in Reality as a Public Servant there is a certain amount of B.S. Your Required to put up with before Escalating the Issue (Arresting someone, using Deadly Force etc) in light of the Recent U.S. Supreme Court (Florence v. Board of Chosen Freeholders) ruling has opened the Door to this type of Abuse... Jaywalking, Littering , talking back to a police officer? any excuse to "Send you to Jail" Strip search is OK .. "to protect others in Jail"

We Need a change in Laws that say .. individual Police officers Cannot Arrest (I mean send someone to Jail) for Silly stuff.. in Seattle a Man was Arrested for Photographing the inside of an ATM machine in a public place while guards were Servicing it.. because he wanted to see what it looked like inside (that's not illegal) Arrested, strip searched.. released 4hrs Later without being Charged.. Should Result in a $100,000 civil award & Officer being docked in Pay. Jails are to protect public NOT Public Punishment on a whim of an individual police officer.
